Description

James Burnes' record of a journey to the Court of Sindh in 1827 to medically treat the Amir Moured Ali includes many interesting observations on the intrigues of Hyderabad court life. The second work on Cutch was compiled by Burnes from public documents. The Appendix concerning trade and navigation of the Indus includes contributions from Sir Alexander Burnes Colonel Pottinger and Charles Masson.

This is the first edition to include plates. 5 hand colored lithograph plates & folding map.
