Description

The committee consisted of Chas. R. Hale, S. Huntington Jones and Henry Morton. The text is in their handwriting, reproduced lithographically, and is framed in decorative borders by Max Rosenthal and Henry Morton.

Includes the hieroglyphic, demotic, and Greek inscriptions, with translations of each. Hale translated the Greek and demotic; Morton, the hieroglyphic.

"The illuminations and illustrations, designed by Mr. Morton and drawn by him upon stone, have been printed at the establishment of L.N. Rosenthal, N.W. corner of Fifth and Chestnut Sts. Phila."--P. [4]
